- Start small
Don’t overwhelm yourself by trying to tackle everything at once. Focus on one room in the home or one area of the office at a time.
- Sort and discard
Be ruthless in deciding what to keep and what to discard. Ask yourself if you have used an item in the past year, if it still has a purpose in the home or office, or if it still brings you joy. If it doesn’t tick any of these three boxes, then it is probably time to think about discarding it.

Give your belongings a new life by donating them to charity or selling them online.
- Establish designated storage areas
Once you have decluttered, create a place for everything to help prevent clutter from accumulating again. Make sure you have easy access to items that you know you will use regularly.
