No we do not charge a deposit.
Please contact us to reserve your unit by calling 01424 718 169, completing our enquiry form or sending us an email. We will then allocate you an alarm code to enter your unit, which has to be processed during working office hours. If you book a unit outside of our office hours of Monday – Friday 09:00am – 5:00pm, we will allocate your alarm code on the next working day. You can enter your unit at any time during the storage hours of Monday – Friday 8:00am – 8:00pm, Saturday and Sunday 9:00am – 5:00pm.
Unfortunately, due to our insurance policy, we are unable to assist you with loading or unloading goods from your vehicle.
You can upgrade or downgrade your unit size at any time. This can be done by completing our enquiry form or sending us an email, or by calling us on 01424 718 169 during our office hours.
We can cover your items up to £100, but if the value of your items exceeds this amount, you will need to arrange your own insurance cover. We are registered with www.insurastore.com and they will be happy to provide you with a quotation.

We require 7 days written notice, by email or letter, and confirmation from you on the day you vacate, upon which any security deposit and unused rent will be returned to you.
The quote price is for the rental of the unit only. Any packaging requirements can be quoted for separately.
Yes, any outstanding balance will be returned to you.
We rent the units on a 4 weekly basis and require just 1 weeks’ notice to vacate.
The price of self-storage depends on the number of items you have to store and for how long you will be storing your belongings. It makes sense to only store items you are likely to need in future as the smaller the space needed the lower cost the storage unit will be to hire.

Whilst some sites might offer 24-hour access, your personal safety is important and so core popular times are a better option.
At Offerfair you can reserve a unit at any time, and then we will process your booking during our normal office working hours. You are then free to enter your unit at any time during the storage facility opening hours of Monday – Friday 8am – 8pm, Saturday and Sunday 9am – 5pm.

Unfortunately our self-storage units can’t be used as offices, as they are designed just for storing your belongings rather than for day-to-day work. However, if you are looking for office premises then please visit our commercial listings where we have a range of office, workshops and warehouses for short and long-term lease.
Many businesses requiring workshop space are turning to renting self-storage units as it provides flexibility and there are no hidden costs.
We are often asked at Offerfair if our storage units can be used as a workshop, and the answer is yes, with certain restrictions. Fuel, oil, anything flammable and motor vehicles/bikes are all prohibited, so this restricts certain activities. However, many other workshop uses are allowed, so please contact us to discuss your specific requirements.
We appreciate that the safety of any items stored is of uppermost importance when it comes to self-storage. With a trusted self-storage company, your items will be as safe in storage as they are in your home. Due to their high level of security, storage units are very rarely a target for thieves.
All Offerfair self-storage sites have full CCTV security, so you can be rest assured that the safety of your belongings is always our highest priority.
Most self-storage companies will have insurance to cover items up to a limited value, which is why it is always recommended that customers take out their insurance.

The only items that we ask customers not to store at Offerfair are food items and perishable goods, combustible or flammable materials such as oil and fuel, firearms and explosives, chemical and radioactive materials, and motor bikes and any other vehicles.
Sleeping in a self-storage unit is a breach of health and safety regulations and self storage units are not designed for living in. In fact, under the Fitness for Human Habitation Act it is illegal to live in a storage unit in the UK.
At Offerfair we take the safety and security of our self storage units very seriously, and cannot allow people to stay over night in their storage unit.
